The poems “mantras for yoga seldom reflect real life” and “warmth no closure” were published in issue eleven of nibble.
Leah’s piece, “Teddy,” was nominated for the Pushcart Prize by editor Paul Fericano of Poor Souls Press and Scaramouche Books. The piece was featured as part of Poor Souls Press’ The Broadsider series. Leah wishes to thank Mr. Fericano for the nomination, one of the independent press’ greatest honors.
Leah manned a table of her books (along with other books from Propaganda Press) during The Somerville News Writers Festival at The Center for Arts at the Armory in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on November fourteenth, two-thousand-nine.
